The MountainTechs™ Project
MountainTechs is a virtual community of passionate outdoor enthusiasts, ranging from highly experienced to expert. Each MountainTech participates actively in one or more self-powered mountain sports – hiking, backpacking, camping, mountain climbing, rock climbing, paddling, mountain biking, trail running, skiing or other snow sports, fishing. Over 1,000 MountainTechs live in all 50 states and Canada, and play outdoors across the U.S. and globally.
W.L.Gore & Associates sponsors this project as one way to get closer to consumers….gaining input on consumer wants and needs, on reactions to planned products and campaigns….and as a way to get word out on Gore products and Gore’s customers’ (the brands) products.
